WF rider Madison Boyer qualifies for IEA National Finals

 Madison Boyer, 16 year old Riverbend high school sophomore and member of Whitestone Farm’s Interscholastic equestrian team qualified for Interscholastic Equestrian Association(IEA) National Finals yesterday (March 10, 2012) in Novice Equitation by winning top prize at Zone Finals at Chatham Hall school in Chatham, VA.  She earned this opportunity by winning her division on February 27, 2013 at the Regional finals in Virginia Beach.  Nationals are held April 19-22 in Syracuse, NY where she will be one top 24 high school students in the nation qualified to compete in Novice Equitation.  The Interscholastic Equestrian Association is a national organization for middle and high school students that offers the opportunity to compete as a team and individuals in equestrian sports (www.rideiea.org)  Madison is a long time student of Carol Hawley, trainer at Whitestone Farm and coach of IEA Team.  This is Madison’s second year competing in IEA and first bid to IEA Hunt Seat National Finals.
